Allen H. Chin, O.D.

Allen H. Chin (“Dr. Chin”), O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston’s College of Optometry in 1975.  His undergraduate studies were completed at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of Houston.  His fields of special interest include keratoconus and orthokeratology, and his reputation and clinical experience have gained the referrals and trust of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and medical clinics around Houston.

Dr. Chin is a Fellow of the International Orthokeratology Society and serves as adjunct faculty for the New England College of Optometry.  Dr. Chin also remains active in the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Chin’s early college studies began in chemical engineering; however, he made the decision to switch to optometry because he values his daily interactions with people.  Dr. Chin believes it is a privilege for him to create and establish lifelong relationships with his patients.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Chin likes to spend his free time gardening.
